Revenue Manager – Consultant
Location: Remote in US
MetricStream has an immediate need for a Revenue Manager – Consultant for a 3-month assignment to help with our financial statements annual audit.
Key Responsibilities
Review ASC 606 positions papers and assess the appropriateness of conclusions reached
Review underlying work papers to ensure the work is complete and accurate.
Ensure that work papers support conclusions reached in the Company’s accounting policies
Prepare and review month-end close reconciliations for revenue-related accounts
Audit revenue related account balances by tracing them back to source documents
Analyze work papers and identify any anomalies
Assist with revenue monthly-end close tasks
Prepare and review flux analyses
Assist to prepare PBCs for external auditors
Assist in special projects and prepare ad-hoc analysis, as needed
Skills and Experience
8+ years related accounting experience is desired
Advance Excel skills
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and able to work independently
Able to multi-task and prioritize while working in a goal-oriented environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and works with a sense of urgency
Able to work and propose a view or communicate observations in an effective manner
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Possesses strong business acumen and can identify risk and opportunity
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-manipulation skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required
