If you’re willing to contribute and create value for tomorrow’s cleaner and smarter mobility, Faurecia is the place to be.Position Summary: The Sales Controller is in charge of financial reconciliation, analysis and explanation of our sales price evolutions. This mission includes budgeting, forecasting, closing finance activities.He/she ensures that the evolution of our sales price is being monitored, explained and main impacts are anticipated as well as clearly walked with purchasing on all pass-through assumptions as well (raw material, directed components…).In this mission, the sales controller will be involved with purchasing and sales controlling activities for closing activities.The controller is in charge of the reporting, including budgeting, month-end closing, rolling forecasts and Strategic Plan.Responsibilities: Contribute to the elaboration of purchasing and sales budget and strategic plan as well as forecasts for our plantsEnsure the reliability of sales reportingManage the data consolidation at Division level and review with the Plant Controllers the consistency of the data input.Communicate with plants to ensure evolution of their pricing is well understood, correctly forecasted and accruedContribute to the analysis of the variances and propose appropriate corrective actionsDevelop, execute and put in place internal procedures that guarantee good process controlsEducate and coach our purchasing and CBU teams to the financials and our plant controlling team to sales and purchasingEnsure alignment between internal purchasing and sales reporting and FCS master dataEnsure adherence to internal control basics related to controlling of sales and purchasing. Implement and deploy systems to improve overall internal control.Communicate with purchasing, sales, accounting and finance to ensure proper information flowImplement systems and procedures to improve sales controlling accuracy and response time of monthly reporting and annual budgetingImprove workflow to track sales price changes and propose improvement to sales administration processTrack receivables issues together with Plant controlling Finance teams and Sales departments in order to help identify and resolve pricing differences, ASN or Pay as Build (PAB) problems with our OEM’sCommit to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.Position SpecificationsAuthorities:Validation of sales prices changesForecast/budget and closing assumptions validation for purchasing and sales evolutionKnowledge / Skills: Requires high level of expertise using Microsoft Office, especially ExcelKnowledge of finance modules of SAP strongly recommended; Key User experience preferredResult-oriented with strong written and oral communications skillsExperience using reporting software such as Magnitude or Hyperion a plusPerformance needs to be in accordance with the Faurecia core competenciesThe ability to use a systematic approach in solving problems through analysis and evaluating alternate solutions and to make decisions quickly in order to take immediate action is strongly suggested in this positionThe ability to relate to routine operations in a manner that is consistent with existing solutions or problems and conformity to established procedures is requiredThe ability to present information through written and spoken communication clearly and efficiently is a key skill for sales ControllerEducation / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance5-10 years professional experience in financeExperience in manufacturing/plant controlling is recommendedInternational/multicultural experience in other International Automotive Tier 1 preferredFaurecia is an Equal Opportunity Employer..Job Type: Full-time
