The ideal candidate should be a self-started and direct all accounting operational functions.Job Position: Senior AccountantShift: Mon-Fri 8am-5pmPay: $70k-$120k DOEJob Duties: Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecastsMulti-Disciplinary/Various IndustriesManage the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is on timePrepare cash-flow reports that project cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and handle daily cash managementEvaluate, implement, and streamline policies, procedures, controls, and most methodologiesWork closely with the executive team and partners to ensure that firm-wide operation is efficient and effectiveAble to perform Audits as requiredPresent monthly financial reports to the executive committee and partnersAssure client expectations are met by reviewing deliverables of self and teamGuide all operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payrollAdvance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning, and implementationComplete month-end and year-end close of the income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts and handle G/L analysisQualifications: CPA/MBA is a plusBachelor of Science in accounting3+ years of general ledger accounting experienceStrong technical background in public accounting (GAAP)Proven knowledge of Audit Standards and Audit complianceStrong Microsoft Excel ability and ERP system experience sSelf-starter with efficient time management and organizational skillsStrong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism wellJob Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 – $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Escondido, CA 92025: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Application Question(s):Do you have previous experience, if so how long?Are you able to manage the production of monthly and annual budgets?Do you have experience in QuickBooks online, Toast, Compeat preferred but not required?Work Location: One location
