Job Description : Essential Responsibilities: Full-cycle GAAP Accounting Professional with 7+ years of full-cycle transactional accounting, GL Accounting, journal entries, tax (sales & use, 1099), payroll, with Tech or startup SaaS Tech company experienceExperienced in SAAS Accounting Operations, including, A/R, A/P, GL, Cash, Billing, foreign currency transactions, accruals, private equity reports, ASC 606 Revenue RecognitionResponsible for owning the month-end and quarter-end close process, with a high level of integrity, and ad hoc requests from the VP of Accounting & FinanceASC 606 Revenue recognition, review contracts, deferrals, accurals, journal entries, flux analysis and reporting disclosuresAbility to develop & streamline GAAP accounting process & internal controls for the accounting and finance operationsResponsible for month-end close and monthly reconciliations including supplemental, schedules, roll forwards, reconciliations, accruals, prepaid, trial balance.Skilled post journal entries to the general ledger, including month-end recurring and accrual entriesSupports ongoing financial planning, analysis, and financial forecasting, monitoring actual versus budget, including variance analysisMaintain and monitor the system of internal accounting controls and ensure their efficiency and effectivenessAbility to process full-cycle payroll for up to 30 employees, with some knowledge of HR operations (a plus)Support the Tax function, federal, state, and local tax filings (income taxes, property taxes, sales, and use taxes, franchise taxes, 1099s, etc.)Experienced in problem-solving, research and resolving accounting or documentation issues and discrepanciesCompletes ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis, as well as special projects as neededQualificationsBA/BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA (nice to have)7+ years GAAP GL accounting with relevant finance and experience working in Start-Up SaaS Tech industryASC 606 SaaS Tech revenue recognition required, manageExpertise with QuickBooks and accounting systems, with advanced ExcelSkilled in finance, accounting, budgeting, tax, banking, cash management, cost control principles, Foreign currency transactions,Demonstrated ability to work creatively & resourcefully, able to work with ambiguity, prioritize goal & initiatives amidst competing priorities, within team collaborative environmentFlexible & adaptable, self-starter, roll-up sleeves approach to accounting, highly motivated, and able to handle multiple projects at one time while maintaining incredible attention to detailExcellent business acumen -verbal & written to support the C-Suite & internal stake holders.Strong quantitative skills and attention to detail requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $50.00 – $55.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:GAAP: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: Remote
