Pursuit of Greatness, then please continue reading to learn more.POSITION OVERVIEWThe mission for this position is to take full ownership of all business finance and accounting needs while providing guidance and advice to owners on financial operations, stability, growth and profitability.We run multiple online education and coaching programs that help healthcare professionals start and grow their own medical practices and have experienced consistent growth. To be able to do this, we have built a small team of exceptional players to help make sure that our programs run smoothly and that we are able to provide top-notch customer service to all our students.We are looking for another energetic and highly motivated team player who is a skilled finance and accounting professional to take charge of our finance and accounting activities. This is a part-time roll (~15 hours a week) and you will be responsible for managing the business’s bookkeeping, bonus & commission calculations, run payroll for our W2 & 1099s, P&L reporting, KPI tracking ect.RESPONSIBILITIES:Take complete overship of all finance and accounting responsibilities for a small start up businessPrepare balance sheet and account reconciliations, intercompany consolidations and journal entriesSetting and tracking business KPIsAdvise owners and board members on financial operations, stability, growth and profitabilityAccounting software integrationsAccounts receivable/payablesRunning payroll for all W2 & 1099sCalculating and processing bonuses & commission payoutProcessing 401k and healthcare benefitsPreparing and filing state compliance reportsPrepare supporting schedules for financial reviews and annual auditEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or AccountingManagerial and leadership experience7+ years of financial/accounting experience working with small to mid-sized companies, preferably in online and high growth sectors5+ years remote work experienceAble to work both independently and collaboratively with a teamIn-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Fluent in GAAP Accounting and SAAS-based financial guidelines–cost-accounting a plusHighly organized and detail oriented – focused on accuracy and precisionComfortable using online softwares & accounting and payroll systems such as QuickBooks Online, Gusto, Transferwise (Wise.com), Stripe, PayPal, time tracking/monitoring softwares, etc.Understanding of all aspects of a payment transaction, from payment acceptance, reconciliation, dispute resolution, and payouts on Stripe and PayPal.History of working in financial auditsExpertise in federal, state and local level tax issues and proceduresCERTIFICATIONSQuickBooks Certified Pro AdvisorGustoCPA (preferred)PAY AND BENEFITSExtremely flexible work scheduleOpportunity to work in a growing online companyJOB TYPEPart TimeRemote1099 Independent ContractorAPPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1.
