Job Description : Senior Accountant – Commercial Property Team We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant who is passionate about commercial real estate!Company / Team / Position highlights:Exciting, venture capital backed opportunity within a rapidly-growing Industrial Real Estate companyTight-knit accounting & finance team with broad responsibilities, visibility and career growth upside.Employees are trusted and encouraged with a hands-off management style.Wide range of responsibilities – impactful role in financial closing / financial statement preparation – ownership of property accounting & valuation over an assigned portfolio of commercial real estate properties – including: incentive modeling, forecasting, real estate valuation & data analysis, reconciliation, investments compliance, resolving discrepancies, quality/accuracy assurance, and the analysis of partnership returns and promotion structuresOpportunity to communicate with Property managers to assist in the finalization of capital budgets and annual operating capital.Company Portfolio – the company has portfolio investments all over the real estate industry thus the accounting, reporting, and forecasting work in supporting such a team is very interesting and highly sought after.The plan for this position is to start as an individual contributor, learn the business structure and then grow the property accounting & valuation team / add direct report.Qualifications:Relevant experience in property accounting. Prior experience in Commercial Real Estate is a plus. Experience with valuation is a plus.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with all business units.Attention to detail, ability to multitask and work effectively in a team.Proficiency when working with Excel.Great candidates will have a passion for problem solving.Job Type: Full-timePay: $105,000.00 – $125,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offParental leaveVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
