Job Description : Job Overview: Senior Accountant Consultant (Fully-Remote)Length: 3+ monthsWe are currently hiring for a Senior Accountant Consultant (fully-remote) for a Software company based here in the DC Metro area. This position will be assisting the Sr. Accounting Manager with the daily general ledger accounting duties, including cash/revenue, reconciling intercompany transactions, and other month-end close entries.This position will be fully remote, the length of contract will be 3+ months, and they are looking to get someone started immediately.Duties: Reconcile general ledger accounts such as prepaids, fixed assets, other assets and liabilitiesRecord all cash transactions (debits and credits), Prepare cash disbursements and transfers via wire and ACH.Preparing monthly journal entries and corresponding schedulesManage fixed asset systems and related depreciation entriesReview and reconcile all inter-company transactions monthlyMonitor and analyze accounting data and prepare adjustments when necessary.Other duties as assigned.Target Experience Requirements: BS in Accounting, Finance or related field2-3+ years of progressive corporate GL accounting experienceExperience with NetSuite (or other cloud-based ERP systems) strongly preferredStrong proficiency in ExcelJob Types: Full-time, Contract, TemporaryPay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hourBenefits:Health insuranceWork from homeSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: Remote
