We are currently hiring for a Senior Accountant, International Business at our National Center in Dallas, TX. The Senior Accountant will manage the finance, accounting, and tax & regulatory compliance functions of AHA international business that consists of multiple international Territories, multiple product lines, and several foreign offices/entities with $22 million annual revenue. Will provide direct coaching and supervision to one Staff Accountant.

Responsibilities:
Ensure all transactions are recorded, classified and reported properly in accordance with the General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This includes but is not limited to billing, revenue recognition, expenses recording, accounts receivable, inventory, foreign payroll, foreign bank accounts and international taxm and regulatory compliance.
Manage and coordinate the budget process of over 50+ individual budgets and 15+ capitalized budgets and provide support to International SVP, VPs, Directors, Managers and other applicable staff.
Manage the finance and accounting functions of AHA’s foreign entities and offices including revenue and expenses recognition, financial transactions and financial statement review, financial consolidation to parent, foreign tax collection reporting, and remittance.
Collaborate with International management in establishing the finance and accounting process, procedures and treatment for new international business, product lines, projects, office or entities, business model/strategies and territories/countries.
Assist in financial planning, projection and reporting for the International Operations.
Guide and direct assigned staff to reach goals.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field of study.
5+ years of accounting experience in a related field, including budget and financial analysis and revenue generation accounting.
5+ years of hands-on experience working with an accounting software system.
Previous employment in a mid- to large size company.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skill (pivot tables, v-lookups).
Prior experience with invoicing and/or A/R management.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Detail and deadline oriented.
Here are some of the preferred skills/experiences we are looking for:
Professional certification in accounting (CPA, CIA, CMA).
International accounting experience.
Working knowledge of GAAP and Accounting Standard Codification.
Bilingual.
Previous experience in a staff management capacity.
