If so, then you’re in luck, Anchor Ingredients has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant.**PURPOSE OF POSITION: This new and highly visible position is responsible for daily accounting practices and month-end reporting for Anchor Ingredients and its subsidiaries.**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Preparation of timely monthly financial statement and reporting package for all levels of the company’s activities, includes its operating entities and joint venturesOwn the month-end reconciliation and entry process – ensuring transactions recorded in accordance with US GAAP and internal policiesMonitor financial performance to budget, measuring and analyzing resultsAssist in company’s Treasury functionMonitor customer past due receivable accounts and inquire with customers regarding balancesEffectively research accounting treatment (under U.S. GAAP, IFRS, or other reporting frameworks, as applicable) for new, complex, or unusual transactions, and communicate/document the company’s accounting treatment for such transactionsComplete Company Gross Profit Analysis, by division and traderOther responsibilities as neededGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Project work or items outside of this Job Description, as specified from time to time by the leadership.The Tasks detailed within this Job Description are not intended to represent an exhaustive list of duties that the job holder may be required to undertake.
