Key priorities include bookkeeping, budget tracking across different projects, creating and driving of Standard Operating Procedures. Perform general accounting functions and analyze financial transactions across multiple entities and systems. Compliance with corporate policies, legal requirements, and tax regulations.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the production of monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and related variance analysis.Track projects and their related profitability throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare monthly schedules for financial report packages.Responsible for regular accounting entries.Develop complex spreadsheet models to analyze and deliver business insights.Prepare operational reports, covering trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.Drive the preparation of the annual budget.Prepare and present ad hoc reports and analyses to drive business profitability.QualificationsRequired:B.S. degree in Accounting or other means of demonstrating core fundamentals2-5 years of experience in an accounting or finance disciplinePreferred:Large CPA firm experienceKnowledge of US GAAPKnowledge of US Government Accounting PoliciesManufacturing and inventory experience a plusExperience with accounting software packagesCompetencies:Must be able to read, write and speak in EnglishWorking ConditionsAir conditioned engineering development environment.This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.This is a full-time position, and general days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
