Job Description : Our client, a privately held business, is a retail apparel manufacturer. The company has been around for over 50 years and represents leading brands across the world.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$80,000 – $90,000

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will perform general ledger account and bank reconciliations, will maintain accurate daily records of cash flow, and will assist in special projects.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files
Perform general ledger accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid expenses
Research and reconcile general ledger account discrepancies
Post daily cash receipts and disbursements to internal systems
General and upload supporting reports and documentation into company portal
Assist with processing accounts payable invoices
Special projects
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
5 years’ experience
Strong Excel knowledge
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is required
