We eliminate recipe and ingredient hunting by sending you a pre-packed kit along with easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions, turning you into a professional bartender in a matter of minutes.We are proudly headquartered in Chicago, Illinois giving you access to some of the best cocktail recipes in the country.GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTIONCocktail Courier is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to perform accounting duties across multiple subsidiaries.The Senior Accountant’s responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing sales tax returns, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.The successful Senior Accountant, should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles(GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills. An outstanding Senior Accountant should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform duties with precision under strict deadlines.This is an on-site position that is based in Chicago, IL. This role may also be based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with opportunities for hybrid work.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITESPerform all related duties to close each month timely and accurately across multiple subsidiaries.Work closely with Accounts Payable to insure timely processing and accruals of payablesAccount analysis including inventory reconciliationPrepare sales tax returns for multiple states across multiple platformsImplement improvements/procedures.MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOccasionally assist in purchasing and Accounts Payable processesQUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOBEducation & Experience: · Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required· 5+ years of accounting experience.· CPA or CPA candidate preferred Oracle and Netsuite experience a plus.Other: Strong financial analysis skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational and stress management skills.
