The company also has strong tenured amongst its staff, with very engaged and inspirational leaders, and offers a very comprehensive/rewarding compensation package and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401K marching, tuition reimbursement, PTO).Position Overview: The Senior Accountant serves as a key member of the finance & compliance team and will play a key role in implementing the infrastructure and systems needed to support the company’s strategic plan and substantial growth over the next three to five yearsResponsibilities: Assist in preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.Assist with preparation of annual audit schedules and providing supporting documentationSupport accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice entries and weekly payments in check, wire or ACH including monthly expense reports.Prepare balance sheet and income statement account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy and related month-end close journal entriesAssist with preparation of Company’s budget and forecasts.Assists with preparation of IRS Form 990-PF filingPreparation of federal/state/local tax/ charitable solicitation filing registration and reportingContinually evaluate finance and accounting policies and systems for efficiency and cost effectivenessAd hoc analytical work or projects as assignedParticipate in annual financial audit to ensure compliance with grant agreementAssist with maintaining consolidated analysis of monthly financial reportsWork with partner agencies that are funded by the Company on finance related items: budget preparation, monthly reporting, budget modifications and funding distributionsPreparation of additional analysis and financial modelsDesired Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.4 + years of general accounting experienceAudit and FP&A experienceExperience working with nonprofit organizations, grant-funded project reporting, and budgets that include federal and foundation-based funding streams preferred, not requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceDisability insuranceFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceTuition reimbursementVision insuranceWork from homePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: One location
