Job Description : The Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting the Controller with the preparation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting and reporting of multiple businesses. In addition, assisting with the quarterly close, and becoming an intermediary with our various outside accountants, auditors, and banking relationships.Responsibilities of Senior Accountant: Reconciling Balance Sheet accounts including several bank reconciliations and intercompany, assist with projects, preparing Sales Tax reports, prepare, maintain and coordinate account analyses for audit purposes.Preparing month end journal entries for multiple entities, annual state renewals and filing other state reports for complianceRequirements of Senior Accountant: Degree in AccountingPrevious Retail experience a plusProven bookkeeping experienceAttention to detail and accuracyBenefits of Senior Accountant Position: Health Insurance401KPaid Time OffCompetitive SalaryProficiency in MS Office Suite, strong Excel skills required.Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Middletown, NJ 07748: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: One location
