Responsibilities
Maintain plant financial records according to IFRS. Includes monthly closing, year-end audits and reconciling accounts.
Become a business partner supporting Lead Center and Division Managers in reaching profit targets. Prepares forecasts.
Maintain internal controls in accordance with Company policy.
Prepare financial analysis as needed to support business objectives.
Facilitate the annual business plan process.
Prepare annual cost plan setting work center rates for inventory valuation and standard product cost.
Preparation of appropriation requests (AR) and analysis.
Coordinate physical inventories and encourage cycle counts.
Responsible for documented completion of training for staff/employees per current company procedures.
Qualifications
Education/certification:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
Advance degree or professional certification preferred
Required Knowledge:
Excel & Microsoft Word
ERP system experience and consolidation software knowledge (QAD and Hyperion Enterprise knowledge a plus)
Required Experience:
5 to 7 years of progressive experience
Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP / IFRS and financial reporting matters
Big 4 CPA firm experience is preferred
Required Skills / Abilities:
Must have strong organizational skills and be able to meet deadlines.
Must be able to take initiative and provide appropriate follow up.
Must have ability to effectively prioritize, balance multiple projects and processes, and adhere to strict deadlines.
Accurate and attentive to detail.
Must possess interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of Management.
Ability to work in fast paced dynamic organization.
Able to operate telephone, PC, copier, and other basic business machines.
Using mathematics to solve problems.
