Job Description : Greco Architectural Metals, a CSW Industrials company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team in Hudson, FL. The Staff Accountant will support the Accounting and Finance Department in executing month-end procedures and process daily financial activities as directed. Collaborate with both Finance & Operations teams to advise, analyze and interpret financial data. The Staff Accountant will have the opportunity to be exposed to many different areas of the company’s operations.Essential Functions: Prepare month-end close activities including the preparation and review of journal entries in accordance with US GAAP, prepare supplemental information, and other corporate requirements.Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and ensure accounts are reconciled with resolution to noted items.Ensure transactional and GL ledger maintenance and accuracy.Build, Maintain, and strengthen internal controls and have good audit trail.Support the Controller and Operations with ad hoc reports and projects as needed.Analyze data as it relates to the general ledger to support the business.Assist in ad-hoc financial reporting functions and corporate requests.Prior POC and Cost Accounting experience preferredPrior Sales & Use tax experience preferredEssential Skills, Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business or related area; CPA a plus.Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Knowledge of accounting practices within a manufacturing environment (job costing, cycle counts, full accounting cycle, etc.)3+ years of experience in related activities.Organized and can manage time appropriately.Analytical Skill – Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.Advanced capabilities in Excel and Microsoft Office suite of products.Team player that has strong organizational skills and attention to detail.CSW Industrials, Inc., together with its affiliated companies are equal opportunity employers.
