Our innovative highly configurable platform is experiencing explosive market adoption and we are seeking people to join and further our entrepreneurial, collaborative, and customer focus culture.Position Summary: As a Senior Accountant, you will be a key member of our growing accounting & finance team. The Senior Accountant will need to be motivated, hands-on, and willing to work on a range of tactical and technical projects to ensure success of the finance team. This individual will need to be a trailblazer, working to enhance and improve accounting, financial, and reporting processes. This individual will also be a business partner and leader within the organization and will be required to have strong, senior-level knowledge and experience in a growing accounting and financial organization, with SaaS experience preferred.Primary Responsibilities Include: Coordination and execution of timely and accurate monthly and annual financial close process, including in-depth and technical review of all accounts and results, including all reporting and budget-to-actual variancesPreparation and analysis of financial reporting for senior leadership, management & investor boardsSupport annual audit engagement and tax processes to ensure timely and accurate filingsCollaborate with the Director of Finance to help drive continuous process and system improvements, striving for efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and completenessThorough understanding and adherence to US GAAP rules and policy analysisProvide technical and managerial accounting support to all areas of the companyCollaborative and strong organizational engagement with both internal and external relationshipsSpecial projects and ad-hoc reporting and analysis, as requiredEducation and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, MBA and/or CPA a plus3-5 years’ progressive accounting experience, Public Accounting preferredAdvanced working knowledge of US GAAP, knowledge of ASC606 a plus3-5 years of experience with NetSuite a plusAdvanced MS Excel skills, including an ability to efficiently solve complex problemsSuccessful track record in fast paced, high growth environmentsProfessional Qualifications – Skills and Abilities Required: Demonstrated capability to be an effective and strong leader while also working independentlyExcellent and effective verbal and written communication skills to articulate key information in a professional, efficient, and timely mannerHighly organized with proven ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities in a detailed manner to meet requirements and deadlinesSuperior ability to analyze complex data and issues and summarize information for executive-level presentations in clear and compelling a formatEffective decision-making and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to accept direction and positively process feedback on given assignmentsCollaborative and partnership-oriented style that can work cross-functionally, managing competing organizational priorities and agendas effectively and professionally to achieve resultsFlexibility, reliability, and dependability a mustExpected hours of Work: This is a full-time, hybrid home/office position with regular office hours from Monday through Friday.
