We are looking for an individual who enjoys a positive culture, enjoys learning new skills, works in a fast-paced environment and wants diverse responsibilities along with being a part of a successful team and organization.SALARY RANGE: Negotiable – Based on experienceESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: Assist with month/year-end closing including preparing journal entries, bank/account reconciliations and analysis of accounts.Assist with consolidating financial statements including eliminating related party transactionsAnalyzing customer accounts for trends and collectabilityReview and develop processes to enhance efficiencies and productivityWork with sales tax for multiple divisionsAssist with Canadian currency transactionsOther duties as assignedIDEAL CANDIDATE: BS degree in Accounting, CPA a plus5 years of accounting experienceMicrosoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and knowledge of accounting softwareTeam-player with a strong sense of urgencyWilling to take initiative and drive improvementsInterpersonal and communication skillsProblem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detailWORKING CONDITIONS: Standard office hoursAble to have a flexible work schedule when workflow requires.Hybrid work environment with regular telecommuting hours: up to 60/40 Office – Telecommute split.BENEFITS: Mountville Mills provides a comprehensive benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
