Job Description : MyCare Medical Group is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team in their Land O’Lakes office.The SR Accountant is responsible for performing complex accounting. Duties include maintaining complex GAAP schedules, reviewing financial data to make forecasting decisions.Office attendance is required for this position.Responsibilities: Maintain complex GAAP schedules such as the straight lining of leases, amortization of intangibles and deferred financing fees.Prepare, analyze and post all payroll related entries, including the month end payroll accrual.Maintain balance sheet account reconciliations by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.Prepare and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information applying knowledge of GAAP.Assist with variance analysis for month end financialsAssist the finance group with the month end close process.Assist in the preparation of external audit requestsInitiates creation of new vendors in Accounts Payable SystemObtains key vendor data: W-9, bank information for electronic funds transfer.Inputs vendor information into accounts payable system.Assigns appropriate approval workflow for new vendor.Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.Education and Work Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of accounts payable experience preferred.Bachelors Degree in Accounting or FinanceExcellent oral and written communication.Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-pace setting.Strong MS Excel skills required for role.Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:GAAP: 1 year (Preferred)Accounts payable: 3 years (Required)Work Location: One location
