Our clients are ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, with a long-term outlook, who own private companies, large, concentrated positions, and unique business assets.In this role, you will bring value to our clients by easing their administrative burden and highlighting their most critical financial information. You will be part of a team of specialists that provide customized financial reporting and trust administration services.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Client ServicesView clients’ accounts through a strategic lens to anticipate future needsDevelop a knowledge of the client’s entire financial and family situationEstablish trust and confidence with the client so that issues can be addressed, and solutions offeredEnsure each client receives a consistent, exceptional level of serviceInteract with clients, as neededFinancial Reporting & Trust AdministrationReview of regular financial reporting, cash transactions and billing invoicesCreation of supplemental reportingProcess and review all transactions for assigned accountsAdminister trust capital calls, distributions, and other paymentsManage and maintain timely and accurate cash account records at all times. Includes posting cash receipts and disbursements, monthly bank reconciliations, and forecasting future cash needs as necessary to ensure entities are adequately funded to meet obligationsReview all incoming mail and e-mail related to assigned accounts and communicate with the DOFR as neededPrepare regular financial reportingAssist with the production of annual budgetsAssist with gathering annual tax return informationRead, understand, and apply trust documentsBe familiar with and responsible for adherence to all Compliance policies and proceduresAdditional tasks as assignedEducation, Training and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA preferred4-5+ years of hands on accounting and financial reporting experienceExperience working with high-net-worth individuals preferredHighly proficient in accounting software, Yardi preferredProficient in Microsoft Office ProductsStrong capabilities in strategic thinking, analyzation, and problem solvingStrong business acumenExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsHas the ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlinesDemonstrates integrity, credibility, and dignity in an environment of mutual trust and respectWhy work for us?The opportunity to pioneer this position and the Wilson officeSupported by an experienced team of professionalsGreat company for career progressionCompetitive salaryPaid time off and holidaysHealth Insurance including Dental & Vision Insurance + FSA401(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchLife InsuranceLong-term Disability InsuranceSupport employee development and professional organizational membershipsPacific Trust Company will require all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
