Job Description : Who are you? If you are a collaborative, self-starting accounting professional looking for a new opportunity. If you have managed multiple, sometimes competing priorities to deliver on deadlines. You take great pride in your work, efficiently collaborating with others and with various levels of management. You are well versed in MS Office and have strong verbal and written communication skills.Position Description: This position ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions.Responsibilities: Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account informationInstrumental in annual budget process; prepares all budget schedules and works with Operations to obtain volumes and ratesPrepares closing journal entries for monthly financial statementsReviews trial balance and financial statements for accuracy and completenessProvides monthly analysis of actual vs. budget expenses and provides supportReconciles general ledger accounts on a monthly basisMaintains and submits daily cash monitoring and reportingAssists with capital and asset tracking and reportingPrepares and sends interface files to record Truckmate activity into FSMSuggests new procedures to enhance accounting controls and processesAssists the Company in any necessary duties to achieve Company goalsOther duties as assignedRequirements:· Strong knowledge of GAAP, General Ledger and accounting concepts· Great analytical skills· Excellent interpersonal skills· Communication skills oral and written· Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in multiple systems· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, computerized general ledger, and fixed asset systems· Possesses ability to interact positively with a variety of people at all levels· Demonstrate flexibility regarding peak-time work requirementsEducation, Experience, and Certifications: · Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required· 4 years’ experience in accounting· Certified Public Account (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) desiredSHORESIDE IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERJob Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:Currently employees, vendors,and customer are not required to wear mask/ and or face coverings.Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:GAAP: 4 years (Preferred)Accountants: 4 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
