Job Description : Job SummaryThe Senior Accountant is involved in all parts of the accounting cycle. The candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another closely related field as well as strong skills in Microsoft Excel. This individual must be detail oriented and highly adept at time management. The Senior Accountant supports the accounting team and business units in a professional way to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Responsibilities Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations.Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data.Prepare reports for various taxing authorities.Review and approve work of other staff members.Post journal entries and review reports for errorsSpecifications5 + Years of accounting experienceBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other related fieldExcellent communicator, both written and verbal, able to communicate complex issues and processes to a wide range of usersStrong computer skills and the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentialityProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, a mustExperience with SAGE 100 preferredA strong attention to detail and the ability to edit and proofread are critical for this positionThis is an in-person roleJob Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Pigeon Forge, TN 37863: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Application Question(s):Are you currently vaccinated for COVID-19?If not, would you be willing to wear a face mask 100% of the time while at work?What is your preferred contact method?
