They launched a house of brands that will attract the next generation who care not just about the product, but also about the purpose.Because we are creating something unique that has never been done before in the history of retail, we need creative thinkers, number crunchers, planners and leaders who want to be part of something bigger than themselves and who embody our core values of Love, Respect & Care.Job Description: Senior AccountantThe Senior Accountant at The House of LR&C reports directly to the Controller and participates in monthly and annual close processes, including preparing journal entries and performing analytical review of P&L and balance sheet accounts. General accounting tasks include managing the general ledger, preparing account reconciliations, performing expense and other analysis, assisting with audits, budgets and other department related goals. Daily collaboration with the Controller and frequent cross-divisional collaboration expected. This role requires a self-starter who embraces change, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and loves to learn and be challenged.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage the general ledger accounting entries and reconciliations.Integral participation in timely and accurate month-end closing and reporting of performance and KPIs to leadership.Adherence to accounting controls and best practices.Assist with audits and tax filings.Reconciliations of subledgers to general ledger.Preparation of internal and external reporting to management, banks, factors, etc.Participate in special projects as required.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEThe Sr. Accountant at The House of LR&C holds, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.3+ years of relevant experience in accounting.Familiarity with US GAAP accounting and internal controls is required.Experience in process improvement.Prior experience in apparel or retail is a plus.THE IDEAL CANDIDATEShares company’s core values: Love, Respect, CareActions, words and deeds consistently align with our valuesReliably elevates conversations and can always recognize the GOOD in a situationRemains positive and constructiveAction oriented.Exhibits strong interpersonal and customer service skillsDemonstrates ability to multi-task and prioritize as a self starter.Exhibits proficiency with Accounting systems and productivity tools, (Office 365, Slack, Zoom)Extremely strong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables) and analytical mindset.Communicates clearly and effectively across all levels of the organizationDemonstrates strong organizational, analytical, and reporting skillsPerforms work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailJob Type: Full-timePay: Up to $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Accounting: 3 years (Required)Work Location: One location
