Job Description : Hi,Greetings..!I am reaching out to you on an exciting job opportunity with one such direct clientPlease find the below requirement detailsPosition: Senior AccountantJob Location: Raleigh, NC On-siteSalary: $60-75kAbout the job Capitol Broadcasting is looking for a full-time Senior Accountant for their Radio companies. The individual must be a team-oriented, self-starter who can handle multiple accounting functions including recording monthly journal entries, preparing month end account reconciliations as well as calculate monthly commissions and other monthly close tasks.We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, very organized and has strong interpersonal skills to communicate professionally with other accounting staff & account executives.A bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required with 3-5 years of work experience. Previous experience with Oracle Accounting, Wide Orbit Traffic, Excel and handling accounting transactions for multiple divisions is preferable.Basic Duties: Independently prepare and calculate Radio sales commissions on a monthly basis. Obtain approvals from Account Executives & Managers and communicate commission amounts to Business Manager for submission to HR and payment.Serve as backup to the Business Manager for submitting biweekly payroll including reviewing timecard entries and payroll adjustments prior to payroll processing.Serve as backup for AR and AP functions.Independently calculate rep commission for payment on a monthly basis.Prepare standard monthly journal entries, various clearing entries, payroll accruals for multiple radio stations.Post AR Write-Offs as needed and approve by Business Manager.Prepare journal entries for 401 K/Safe Harbor on a monthly basis.Balance Payroll deduction report to insuranceRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business from a four-year college or universityMinimum 3-5 years accounting experienceExperience with accounting for multiple divisions a plusExperience with Oracle or Wide Orbit a plusHigh level of proficiency with Excel & Word requiredDetail oriented and organized with an ability to manage multiple priorities & deadlinesShould be proactive, positive and results orientedAbility to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external partiesYou must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to work at CBC.
