DGOC’s parent company is Diversified Gas & Oil Plc, which is a public company listed on the London Stock Exchange and trades under the ticker “DGOC”.POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Accountant – Revenue reports to the Revenue Accounting Manager and is directly responsible for various aspects of the accounting, distribution, and analyzation of revenue transactions as well as other functions directly associated as defined by management. This position will be located in our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma office.Special focus will be placed on:*Review volumes, values, and contractual rates to ensure proper revenue recognition.Prepare monthly journal entries and related balance sheet account reconciliations.Regulatory Reporting to federal and state agencies.Track purchaser receivable balances on a monthly basis.Assist in the preparation of various schedules/transaction samples for annual audit and semi-annual reviews.Act as a primary contact when interacting with accounting colleagues and operations concerning areas of individual responsibility.Prepare appropriate entries related to the Company’s credit card transactions.Research and resolve various complex revenue accounting issues.Assist in the design, development, documentation, and implementation of internal controls.Perform other duties as requested.POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent combination of education and experienceA minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including work directly related to revenue accounting.Experience in the upstream oil and gas industry is preferred.Regulatory royalty reporting is preferred.Motivated self-starter possessing strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to function independently with minimal direction, as well as in a team environment.Must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.Must take the initiative to meet internal deadlines consistently; demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines.Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required; advanced knowledge of Excel is strongly preferred (pivot tables, sumIfs, index match).Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Knowledge of Enertia Application is a plus but not required.BENEFITS: DGOC offers a competitive compensation plan and a comprehensive benefits program.
