Job Description : COMPANY OVERVIEW: ROKiT is a global VC conglomerate that includes over 30 portfolio companies globally with a diverse portfolio including innovative tech, premium products, beverages and services including mobile phones, WiFi services, and product development.We are looking for a Senior Accountant / Tax Manager with at least 10+ years of relevant experience to join our high performing team to work in an intense startup culture.You will work alongside the Chief Financial Officer to prepare company financials and tax filings. The perfect candidate will be an execution-oriented individual with excellent work ethic and rock-solid judgement who is highly skilled in multi-tasking.RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare monthly financial reports for multiple entities, owners and management.Prepare and review Income/Franchise tax returns, estimates and extensions.Manage various business license renewals, Secretary of State (“SOS”) and LLC fee/tax filings.Review and approve foreign and domestic withholding tax forms.Maintain Legal Entity Organization Charts.Process, research and resolve tax notices as needed.Assist and prepare corporate annual board minutes.Support annual audits.Manage indirect tax filings including monthly/quarterly sales and use tax.Provide business units with tax assistance as needed.Assist and review operating agreements and corporate documents.EXPERIENCE: BA in Accounting or equivalent – required.Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills – required.Quickbooks – preferred.Five or more years of tax experience – preferred.Familiarity with federal and state C-Corp, partnership & LLC returns.Superb organizational skills with ability to perfect processes.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to assess problems or unusual situations and create efficient solutions.Knowledge of tax compliance.Proficient at tax research.BENEFITS: $125,000 salary (based on experience).Full Health Care Coverage.Dental.Vision.Paid time off.Paid sick time.OFFICE LOCATION: Culver City, CAJob Type: Full-timePay: From $125,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Culver City, CA 90232: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:GAAP: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:CPA (Preferred)Work Location: One location
