Job Description : Local CPA firm in Cary, NC is interviewing for an Audit/Senior Audit Associate to join their team. Pay range for this role is up to $85K plus bonus and comes with a great benefits package that includes M/D/V, PTO, and Retirement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, direct, and execute client engagements.
Review and prepare electronic workpapers, financial statements, and reports to support conclusions reached.
Ensure deadlines are met.
Manage, develop, and train the audit team members.
Work with team members and client management to resolve issues that arise on engagements.
Research new accounting standards and suggest implementation strategies for clients.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with client management and staff to ensure customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Masters’ Degree in Accounting Preferred
CPA (Senior Associate) or CPA candidate (Associate) preferred
2 years of experience in public accounting/auditing
Knowledge/Experience in Governmental Audits a big PLUS!
