Job Description : A worldwide oil and gas field service company located in West Houston is adding an Senior Business Controller to their team.
Responsibilities include:
Perform pre-month end closing activities including review, quality control and reconciliation of revenue, costs and investment
Lead monthly closing activities for the division in coordination with accounting team.
Prepare monthly financial reviews including analysis of P/L and select balance sheet and cash flow items
Provide invoicing and accounts receivable/payable support
Develop and provide other management information reports, key figures and analysis as needed
Analyze and provide detailed reports on BU revenue, costs and investments.
Further develop and maintain monthly project tracking dashboard
Collaborate with Director, Finance and BU VP’s to provide input and support for strategic planning and preparation of quarterly and annual forecasts
Assist and provide auditors with necessary documentation as required
Provide general commercial and financial support to BU’s on an ad hoc basis both proactively and as requested
Work closely with other accounting team members to ensure fulfillment of internal reporting requirements
Interact with finance and accounting counterparts in Houston and Europe regarding processes and internal control for the Group
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
10 + years of accounting/ finance and business partnering experience
SAP is highly preferred
IFRS proficiency
Compensation is up to 135K plus bonus.
