Development and support of Business Intelligence environment.
Performs BI applications installation, maintenance, production support, and on-call support
What you will enjoy in this role
Collaborate with database administrators on database design, data mart structure and the technical architecture of the data delivery environment.
Design, build, and deploy reports utilizing the appropriate BI tools
What you will do
Perform BI tool administrative tasks, such as user management, access control and security model maintenance
Provide estimates for BI solutions to be developed
Follow Data Management processes and procedures and provide input to the creation of data definitions, business rules and data access methods.
Qualifications
BI Developer with 5-9 years of experience required
Education Qualification: BE/B.Tech/MCA (no correspondence course).
Must have experience with SAP Business Objects, and Tableau
Experience with Microstrategy is also preferred
Must have experience working with SAP BusinessObjects Information Design tool and building BusinessObjects universes.
Must have experience building SAP BusinessObjects Webintelligence reports.
Must have experience with building SAP HANA Calculation Views
Must have knowledge of relational databases and strong SQL writing and comprehension is required.
Must have experience with an ETL tool, SAP Data Services is preferred
Must have experience in generating reports from various database platforms, including HANA, SQL Server, Netezza and Oracle
Must have basic understanding of windows app and web server components, to perform BI application installations (IIS, Tomcat)
Must be proficient in unit testing of developed BI artifacts and also able to work closely with QA team to ensure BI development work is error free.
Ability to interact with clients on project deliverables, technical discussions, time estimates, and overall technical and strategic directions.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in building, tuning and deploying new reports and portals.
Big Data tools experience a plus.
Knowledge of Cloud Environments is helpful
