Job Description : SENIOR COMPUTER SCIENCE COACH/TRAINERJob Brief:We are looking for a committed and competent ICT (Computer) Principal, whose prime role would be to provide strong academic leadership.The ICT Principal will be required to lead, manage and develop the ICT team to ensure it achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in all its activities as well as ensuring high standards of teaching & learning practice and processes. The ICT Principal will be supported by the MVI Admin staff, and by Tech Coaches, and by the Management as necessary.The position will require them to exercise leadership, demonstrate vision, and empower others in order to deliver the agreed strategy. He / She should be self-motivated and self-driven, passionate for the job, be a good team leader and also a good role model for the students as well as the Tech Coaches.Job Profile & Responsibilities:In the capacity of ICT Principal, the candidate will be required to do/ manage / supervise the following responsibilities.Leadership and Management:Responsibility and accountability for setting and advancing the academic strategy in line with MVI Management strategic plans and direction.Active membership of and contribution to carry functional responsibility for specific agreed crosscutting activities.Development and sustainment of appropriate structures for management, consultation, decision-making and communication with staff and students.Promotion and representation of the Institute both internally and externally.Holding and leading regular ICT Staff meetings and ensuring the keeping of minutesTeaching / Training:Performing the duties of Tech Coach – Teaching of different computer based learning programs for students / learners in the various courses/programs as required.Training of new faculties as required in methods outlined by the organisation.Management of student batches, the training and exam readiness of all students.Integrating & developing new lesson plans as required.Updating self and teachers with constant research with latest market trends (w.r.t ICT subjects/programs) and integrating the same in the organization.Advising and contributing to curriculum development at MVI of various ICT Programmes.Classroom Management:Monitoring the teacher behaviour and interaction in the organisation. The candidate will have to intervene as and when required in the most amenable manner.Monitoring of student behaviour in the organisation. The candidate will have to intervene as and when required in the most amenable manner.Resolving any teacher – student / parents related issues.Setting examination papers, co-ordinating marking schemes and moderating examinations and assessment processes at the institute.Ensuring timely and adequate provision of learning materials and/or any other materials required for the effective teaching of the programmes in the institute.Other Duties:Coordinating with the management as and when required.Assistance in Counselling of proper courses and answering curriculum related queries to all walk-ins (parents, prospects, students).Background and Skills / Educational Requirements:Recognised Post Graduate Degree in Computers, with a decent academic record/standing.Normally be at professorial level – although skills and aptitude will be more importantHave good knowledge of all Programming languages.Proven track record of teaching and being in a leadership role.Respect for children and an interest in helping them develop academically and as people.Should possess excellent Training / Coaching skills, People Skills and Reporting skills.Attention to Detail will be appreciated.Should have good Verbal Communication & Written Communication skills.Be open minded, and have the capacity to learn quickly.Have good delegation skills.Work Experience:Should have classroom experience of 4 to 6 years.Salary:Salary will be discussed during the interview process, and negotiable for the right candidate.Working Hours:Work Timings would be 11am to 7pm Monday through Saturday.Weekly off would be on Sundays.Hours may exceed during exam time.Job Locations:ENARK-DISCOVER – Salisbury Park CentreJob Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹25,000.00 – ₹45,000.00 per monthSchedule:Day shiftExperience:total work: 4 years (Preferred)Expected Start Date: 01/04/2022
