A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior Copywriter (Digital) your primary responsibility will be creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication for one of the known multinational drink and brewing brand across various platforms.

This is a client facing role, where you will be expected to be comfortable working closely with client brand team, central marketing project teams and the clients’ agency partners.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Write, research and conceptualise creative, innovative content that brings readership and encourages sharing
Write short and long form articles
Repurpose existing content for different uses
Master a variety of brand voices
Work closely with clients to create strong concepts from initial briefing through to execution
Set tone and drive creativity, working closely with the Account Director and Data Strategists to ensure creative excellence
Maintain a high awareness of relevant trending topics and news to identify content opportunities
Be responsible for working with internal teams to gather input and validate the content
Ensure consistency and quality across all written content
Present and articulate concepts to clients.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE:

Experience of interviewing and hiring more junior team members
Experience of leading, managing and mentoring a team (preferably not just copywriters but a multidisciplinary team including designers)
7+ years of related professional experience
Thoroughly understands the difference between crafting copy & writing content
Fearlessly contributes ideas to brainstorming sessions
Has a genuine hunger for creating award-worth work
Is comfortable working under tight deadlines
Is flexible and skilled at writing for different brands
Possess willingness to work/extend on their colleague’s ideas
Takes responsibility for their own work
Knows the digital landscape well
Meeting with account executives to discuss the client’s requirements and core messages
Familiarising themselves with the product, target audience and competitor activities in the market
Familiarise themselves with the category, brand space and tonality (very important)
Familiarise themselves with digital platforms
To collaborate closely with the studio manager and/or Creative Operations Director.
Some working outside of normal office hours might be required to meet deadlines and strategic objectives.
