Description
DeLallo is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to fill a key role within our Accounting Department. This position requires solid accounting experience combined with strong analytical and communication skills. This position will support all aspects of the business within the General Accounting Department and will also assist with oversight of a small Accounts Receivable Department.
Qualifications
Deliverables
Perform monthly closing activities such as journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation and reporting
Use analytical tools to perform routine and ad-hoc analyses of account activity, business operations, etc. and interpret the results
Oversee a small Accounts Receivable Department which includes cash application, credit memo processing, new customer evaluation and set-up, credit management, and reporting
Assist with audits, state and local tax filings, and statutory reporting requirements
Cross train in all facets of accounting and company administration to support business needs.
Protect the Company’s integrity by keeping Company all information highly confidential.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a Business field with accounting coursework
5+ years of accounting experience required, supervisory experience is preferred
Public accounting experience and exposure to credit management is preferred
Must demonstrate detail-orientation and an excellent ability to analyze and interpret data
Must possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within the Company
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience utilizing accounting systems is required
Ability to rapidly adapt to changing business needs and priorities
Willingness to learn and work in all areas of the business as needed
