These include among others:Controllership support for business and human capital/resource functionsAccurate and high-quality compensation and benefit related accounting activitiesApply expertise working with multi-GAAP accounting requirements, accounting policy and treatmentSOX and audit compliance, controls, policies, and testingHuman Resources budgeting, planning, and forecasting, analysis and explainsApply experience with Market and Regulatory events, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Divestitures and assisting with compliance, procedures, and policiesFacilitate change and transition through major market and regulatory eventsRole:This role is part of the Finance Controller team within the Bank’s Finance function. The following are the activities performed by these roles:Controllership activities for the Human Resources function supporting the bank’s businessesAccounting Policy and treatment for the firm’s business events in a multi-GAAP environmentSupport the Finance close and production of Financial Statements including 10Q/10K among othersDefining requirements for adjustments, remediation of data, manual uploads among othersDocument governance processes, roles and responsibilities, associated controls, issues, and remediationApply knowledge of industry and leading practices to improve Human Resources Controllership activities including controls, accuracy, and timeliness of reportingBuild and maintain business partner relationship with business lines, Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Risk and Regulatory groups among othersRequirements for this role:Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance related fieldMinimum 5 years working experience as a HR Controller working in the Financial Services IndustryExperience with General Ledger, Sub Ledgers, Compensation and Benefits, Finance Planning and Analysis, Budgeting Planning and Forecasting, oversight of Finance Close componentsExperience with Mergers and Acquisitions/Divestiture compliance is desirableAbility to partner and develop relationships with cross functional organization lines and create business valueStrong communication and leadership skills working with Global Controller and senior business leadershipExperience working with business user communities in a Banking environment to support transformation, M&A and Divestiture initiatives***Rate is NegotiableJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: From $100.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:Controllership: 5 years (Required)Work Location: Remote
