Job Description : Title: Senior Property Accountant2 Openings – Senior and Mid Levels Direct Hire – Salary flex up to $140KSits on-site (NYC office)Desired Skills & Experiences: Accounting DegreeSr. level: minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial real estate accounting with an owner/managerMid level: minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial real estate accounting with an owner/managerExperience with either MRI or YardiProficient in MS ExcelDay-to-Day: Prepare periodic (monthly/quarterly/annual) internal reporting for assigned properties.Coordinating debt service payments, including lender reserves, and supporting compliance reporting. Budget and forecast preparation.Maintaining rent rolls and lease expiration reporting. Reviewing lease abstracts and setting up recurring lease charges in MRI billing system and preparing related non-recurring adjustments for Billing and Collections Department.Calculation of real estate tax, operating and other escalation billings.Maintaining tenant provided Letters of Credit and coordinating Sight Drafts and related transactions.Calculation of leasing commissions.Review of tenant TI Contribution requisitions.Maintain general ledgers and related supporting schedules for assigned properties including preparation of required journal entries for periodic closings.Preparation of bank and other reconciliations including intercompany reconciliations.Preparation of audit workpapers and assisting with external auditors’ requests.Job Type: Full-timePay: $130,000.00 – $140,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offParental leavePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:New York, NY 10022: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:commercial real estate: 2 years (Required)MRI: 1 year (Preferred)Yardi: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
