Job Description : FULLY REMOTE IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST:A high-growth and financially secured Tech-Startup is looking for either a Senior Revenue Accountant or a Revenue Manager to own revenue accounting processes, drive key initiatives, implement best practices, perform related analysis, and lead the team as it continues to grow. This Revenue Accounting professional will ensure all contract revenue is recorded in compliance with ASC 606, own all revenue and receivables accounting functions, provide analysis and reporting, work on the month end close and balance sheet reconciliations, and work with sales operations on sales, contracts, comp plans, and other related functions.The beauty of this opportunity is that it provides the excitement, growth, opportunity and impact of working at a startup, but is also financially secured, is run by a VP of Finance who believes in a good work-life balance, and they pay Seattle competitive wages plus bonus, plus equity. This position can also flex as a Senior Revenue Accountant or Revenue Manager and grow from there with support from a VP of Finance and another senior team member who both have strong revenue accounting backgrounds.This position can be worked fully remote with occasional trips (1-2 per quarter) to the HQ, but it is preferred candidates be in the Idaho, Washington, Oregon region. Candidates must have a BA in Accounting or related field, 3+ years of relevant experience, solid understanding of GAAP (IFRS also a plus), excellent communications and organizational skills, and have solid ASC 606 knowledge.
