Because, we’ve realized, there’s a very powerful common thread.Job Description:The role of the Senior Staff Accountant consists of the following duties:· Financial Statement Analysis· Prepare and reconcile weekly banking Asset Based Lending reporting.· Assist in executing and adapting internal controls to assist in the timely and effective reporting of the accounting record in accordance with US GAAP.· Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process through journal entry preparation and reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts.· Prepare and review financial analysis of the financial statements highlighting trends and areas of needed emphasis.· Assist in the preparation of various tax nexus evaluations,· Preparation of associated sales and use, franchise, and other excise tax returns for affiliated entities.· Assist in cost evaluation of manufactured goods.· Assist in providing support for audit inquiries and testing.· Support upper management in Adhoc assignments.Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent, minimum of 3 years of financial accounting or equivalent experience, attention to detail, ability to multitask, communicates effectively, ability to work with little supervision, knowledge of accounting system and an understanding of business activities. Experience with multi-state taxation, excise tax reporting and familiarity with Dynamics D365 preferred.
