Job Description : Senior Staff Accountant Exciting opportunity with a local high-growth manufacturing company. Looking for someone interested in a challenging career opportunity within a friendly high-energy atmosphere.Ability to aid operations in seizing opportunities and influence Sr. management.Job descriptionKey Responsibilities: Responsible for multi-entity reporting and recordkeepingMaintain general ledger, prepare journal entries and support the month-end close processGeneralist with the ability to work in all areas of accounting (credit & collections, accounts payable, payroll, etc.)Manage admin function for ERP system (i.e. system access, privileges, etc.)Preparation of supporting schedules, assisting with account reviewsPerform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy and validity of accounting transactionsAccount and Bank Reconciliations and execute intercompany transactionsFinancial analysis and modeling in all areas of the business including financial forecasts and budgetsFinancial reporting and review of additional reportsAccrualsReview rates of depreciation, labor, and overheadReporting and report generation via the accounting systemAbility to identify policies and processes to ensure safeguarding of assets and stewardship of resourcesRequirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance3+ years experience in manufacturing preferredSolid understanding of accounting theory and knowledge of US GAAPExperience working with ERP systems; NetSuite or Oracle Experience preferred but not requiredSelf-starter, ability to meet deadlinesStrong process orientation; highly organizedThorough, professional, and poised, however, can operate in a fast-paced environmentAdvanced computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.)Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per yearJob Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Taylorsville, NC 28681: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Work Location: One location
