Qualifications
6+ years of Systems Engineering experience
BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
AWS/Kubernetes Certification(s)
Responsibilities
Creating and maintaining high available and scalable cloud infrastructure
Technical design, development, release and deployment of AWS infrastructure and applications, using CI/CD
Building and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
Good problem-solving and analytical abilities
Delivering work with Agile techniques such as Scrum and Kanban
Ability to rapidly absorb new technologies and have the desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to identify risks/impacts and then adjust/reprioritize as necessary
Strong problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively resolve complex project issues
Strong communication using the most appropriate medium
Automating the build of containerised systems with CI/CD tools, Helm charts and more
Co-ordinate build and release activities with other stakeholders
Drive Automation wherever possible
Collaborate with various teams and disciplines to promote and develop DevOps best practices
Technical Skills:
Demonstrable knowledge and expertise of 24 x 7 operational support of AWS services
Experience of deploying Cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Packer
In-depth knowledge and experience of deploying, configuring and supporting Linux & Windows systems
Experience of Version Control Systems – GIT, GitHub
Knowledge on any scripting languages
Experience with containerisation platform
A good understanding of release management techniques within a cloud hosted environment
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Experience in building and maintaining DEV, QA , PROD and Disaster Recovery environments hosted on EKS/K8s/Cloud
