Alexa Smart Home is bringing the next generation of smart devices and experiences to Alexa customers. Within the Smart Home Customer Experience organization, we are looking for talented Software Engineers to become part of Smart Home Device Health! Device Health engages with teams across Alexa, Smart Home and our third-party partners to develop the tools and services that help customers solve device issues, both manually and automatically.

A day in the life
Device Health Software Engineers work with product managers to understand the customer. They turn customer needs into technical requirements and development plans. Engineers participate in daily standups, sprint planning, on-call rotation, address tickets, contribute to technical and business docs, and present to leadership.

Masters degree in Computer Science
Understanding of Software Engineering processes and best practices
Experience working in an agile, fast-iterating software development environment
Experience developing cloud software services
