Job Title : Software Engineer – IT with Informatica and Control-m Knowledge
The Purpose of This Role
The role is for Software Engineer for Distributed Batch Team in EI Production Support Services in Bangalore. The team is supporting nightly Batch Support operations for around 150+ applications (27000 jobs) in Defined Benefits (DB) and Defined Contributions (DC), Stock Plan Services and Health Welfare domain.
The Value You Deliver
Monitor and provide an effective support for nightly batch operations for Prod and Non Prod environment
Ensure the Batch Cycle completion within the SLA committed with the Partners and Business.
Flexible in working in different 9 hours shifts (Login Times: 5:45 am, 8:15am, 11:15 am and 2:00 pm) and weekend coverage.
Perform application deployments – Monthly for Production environment and Daily for Non-Prod environments.
Monitoring and Support Monthly Critical Batch Operations – Monthly cycles.
Daily Turnover Reporting.
Incident management – coordinating with different stakeholders for issue resolution and make application up and running with in the given SLAs.
Maintain Quality, Timeliness & Accuracy of deliverables and Prepare necessary documentation.
Adherence to project related processes for self and the team.
The Skills that are Key to this role
Technical / Behavioral
Work experience in Production Support Environment is must.
Bachelors or Masters in Information System or any degree with relevant work experience
Work experience in Informatica PowerCenter (ELT) processing, Control-M (Batch Scheduler),, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Unix/Unix Shell Scripting
Good analytical skills
Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain good working relationships with partners
Knowledge of quality processes
Quick learner and willing to adapt and learn new technologies
The Skills that are Good to Have for this role
Domain knowledge of Financial Services Vertical is an added advantage
Knowledge of Tableau, Core Java and Python is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Cloud Technology – AWS and/or AWS Python is an added advantage.

You would be able to contribute to meet our commitment to the Business Partners and the Customers by ensuring the Batch Cycles completion as per our agreement (SLAs) and enable us for a quality delivery.
