Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineering Manager…

In this role, you will:
Manage a team of individual contributor engineers and less experienced engineering managers
Ensure the craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers
Engage in mentoring and guiding the professional and technical development of more experienced engineers
Identify and recommend opportunities for developing product functional and technical strategies for the domains, as well as the development of actionable short and long-term product roadmaps, by partnering with business product managers, lead systems architects, and more experienced engineers
Make decisions and resolve issues regarding strategic products of engineering teams to meet business objectives
Oversee engineering teams to deliver commitments aligned to strategic product priorities
Interpret and develop security, stability, and scalability within key areas of technology risk
Collaborate and consult with agile teams and product managers to drive outcomes
Interact directly with third party vendors and technology service providers
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for technology engineering
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications, International:
15+ years of technology experience in a financial institution
4+ years of leadership or management experience in an IT environment
Proven capability on building teams, to identify, recruit, develop and retain right talent
Good hands on experience on either NET CORE Full stack or Java full stack
Good hands on experience with PCF , public cloud adoption and migration
Proven experience with building solutions using API and micro services.
Demonstrated strength in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing
Practical experience and understanding of Data management through traditional RDBMs, integration & Middleware Components & UI technologies
Application life cycle including SDLC and Agile
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge and hands-on experience working with Big Data Technology
Familiarity with Finance Application and domain is a plus.
Good Hand on experience on Angular and Python
Good understanding on reporting framework like Power BI, Tableau
Job Expectations:
You will manage multiple teams across HYD and BLR office with direct responsibility for the development team.
You will be responsible for the design, development and enhancement of key data processing applications that are used by various teams across Corporate Treasury.
You will be Responsible for technical assistance for ongoing maintenance and development efforts related to application portfolios.
Collaborate with source system and approved provisioning point (APP) teams, Architects, Data Analysts and Modelers to build scalable and performant data solutions.
Proactively manage risk including deliverables, operational issues through implementation of right controls and escalate where required.
Organizing and prioritizing goals, communicating risks/issues/decisions, and tracking progress on initiatives.
Be a trusted strategic partner for global stakeholders for development of key technology strategies
Partner and work effectively with cross functional teams like Quality Engineering, Cloud, & CTO organization.
