Job Description : Sr. AccountantSr. Accountant /Job Responsibilities:Analyzes and post accounting data by collecting, monitoring, and studying data, recommending actions.Sr. Accountant Job Duties:· Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable· Producing error-free accounting reports and present their results· Analyzing financial information and financial status of intercompany allocations· Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable· Produce error-free accounting reports and present there results· Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending· Provide input into department’s goal setting process· Assist, compliance accountant with audits and produce backup documents for audits· Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls· Ensure compliance with GAAP principles· Support month-end and year-end close process· Accuracy and attention to detail· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.· Ad hoc reports as neededSr. Accountant Skills and Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in the Science of Accountancy Corporate Finance· Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant with 3 plus years in accounting· Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures· In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)· Familiarity with financial accounting statements· Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-Will be tested for Advanced Excel skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 – $72,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Health insurancePaid time offPhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Accounting: 4 years (Required)GAAP: 4 years (Required)QuickBooks: 4 years (Required)Work Location: One location
