Job Description : OVERALL SUMMARYNeed it now delivers: is seeking a senior accountant. This permanent position comes with competitive compensation (Range: $70,000 – $85,000 annually) with competitive benefits and a good chance to grow with our rapidly expanding company. As a senior accountant, you will be supporting our general ledger and accounts payable operations. The ideal candidate will have strong management skills and desirably be a licensed CPA.RESPONSIBILITIES·Perform month-end closing activities, including preparation of various journal entries, variance analysis, audit schedules, and distribution of cost center reports and financial statements.Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basis. Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts and investigate/resolve variances.Assist with budget planning/reporting, financial auditing, and process improvementsPrepare and distribute customized financial reports by established monthly deadlines while ensuring the quality, timeliness, and integrity of data.Assist with external audits and preparation of required supportPerform special projects, as required, to assist the department and the Company in achieving its goals and objectives.Ensure proper recording of various accounting transactions including fixed assets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Assist in maintaining the General ledger including:Processing month-end journal entries and maintaining respective supporting schedules and detailRecording inter-company account transactions and preparing inter-company account reconciliationsRecording debt transactions and preparing debt reconciliationsAssist with the collection and preparation of monthly and ad-hoc financial reports for upper management.REQUIREMENTS· BA/BS in accounting, finance, or business administration· Minimum of 2–3 years of general accounting experience· Strong time-management skills and attention to detail· CPA DesirableABOUT USOn-Board CourierShipping to most international cities and all air freight deliveries are time-specific.
