Position :

Job Description : The SR Accountant is responsible for performing complex accounting. Duties include maintaining complex GAAP schedules, reviewing financial data to make forecasting decisions. Office attendance is required for this position.
Maintain complex GAAP schedules such as the straight lining of leases,

amortization of intangibles and deferred financing fees.

Prepare, analyze and post all payroll related entries, including the month end

payroll accrual.

Maintain balance sheet account reconciliations by verifying, allocating, posting,

reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.

Prepare and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling

and analyzing account information applying knowledge of GAAP.

Assist with variance analysis for month end financials

Assist the finance group with the month end close process.

Assist in the preparation of external audit requests

Initiates Creation of New Vendors in Accounts Payable System

Obtains key vendor data: W-9, bank information for electronic funds transfer.

Inputs vendor information into accounts payable system.

Assigns appropriate approval workflow for new vendor.

Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Requirements
Minimum of 3+ years of accounts payable experience preferred.

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

Excellent oral and written communication.

Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-pace setting.

Strong MS Excel skills required for role

Experience Using Multiview Is Preferred.
