WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A SR. ACCOUNTANT
This position is temporarily remote and will eventually be hybrid based out of our Eden Prairie, MN office.
Summary:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing all aspects of vRad’s month-end financial reporting process as well as ownership of commission calculations for entire sales team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversite of all reporting needs, including preparing monthly financial statements, maintaining general ledger, and variance commentary
Assist FP&A team with preparation of monthly management decks and other reporting
Partner with Sales Team to accurately calculate commission payable according to Compensation Plans, including analyzing and forecasting expense
Monthly reconciliation and reporting of intercompany activities to Parent company
Participate in the month, quarter and year end close process by preparing assigned journal entries, account reconciliations and other close functions
Assist with compiling internal and external audit requests
Prepares and updated procedural documents
Act as back-up for other team members in the department as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
3+ years of accounting/auditing experience
Experience in management reporting and financial analysis
Experience with design, implementation and testing of internal controls a plus
Strong ability to prioritize multiple activities and remain flexible to change
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, objective and deadline-oriented
