Position: Sr. Financial/Reporting Analyst (CPA)
JOB REF#: 1080446
Duration: 8+ Months (On-going Contract)
Location: Plano, TX 75024
Rate: Open/Market Rate (W2 Only)

Sr. Financial/Reporting Analyst will assist with the Parent Company quarterly reporting process (CONETS) and financial reporting and FDICIA control PMO activities
Roles/Responsibilities include:
Ensure all financial reporting processes in support of quarterly and annual regulatory and financial reporting filings and packages are prepared accurately and completelyPrepare and own the completion and submission of the quarterly and annual reporting of the bank Call Report to the FFIECEnsure all financial reporting controls are executed completely and timelyMaintaining and operating effective internal controls as well as thorough procedural documentationCoordinate internal and external audit requestsUnderstand and apply US GAAP and other financial reporting requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
** Must be a CPA who has exp working for a banking/auditing or financial services/auditing background.
** Experience with Financial and Regulatory reporting for a Banking set-up would be an ideal fit for this role.
Experience as a CPA with previous public accounting (Big 4 preferred) – Must Have (5-8 years)Experience in accounting, financial reporting, or other relevant experience with progressively increasing responsibilitiesStrong critical thinking, analytical skills and problem-solving skills in closing process gaps and resolving issuesStrong Communication and Organizational SkillsProficient with MS Excel and advanced functionalityDemonstrated aptitude with and desire to learn and apply emerging technologiesEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
Nice To Have’s:
** Prior experience with Big-4 Consulting firm will be a plus but would not be a deal breaker unless the candidates is from a Banking/National Accounting firm background.
Experience in Financial ServicesA mix of public and private industry accountingRegulatory reporting experience at a bankWorking knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and SAP 4HANA
