We are excited to welcome another great member to our CTC and Finance team.Bring your strong accounting skills and attention to detail to manage the monthly Job Cost and Inventory cycle, while contributing to the productivity and profitability of the company by building positive relationships with CTC department staff.Roles & Responsibilities: As a Staff Accountant, you will be working independently to drive exceptional service and results. Your specific duties will include but are not limited to:Manages all aspects of the Job Costing, Work in Progress, and Inventory systemsOversees the payroll process including all tax reportingShares in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsPerforms monthly analysis of company financial statements to include preparing and recording of journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysisOversees cash management functions and completes all bank reconciliationsPrepares work papers supporting the annual tax return and financial statementStays current with industry technology changes and innovations which may affect the operations of SAGE300 CREStays current with construction and/or manufacturing industry best practices and implements relevant practicesAssists with other corporate accounting dutiesEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTSBachelor degree in Accounting, Business or related field required5+ years accounting experience preferably spent in both public accounting and private industryPrevious job costing experience in construction or building materials manufacturing a plusFamiliar with using technology to improve processesSKILLS / COMPETENCIESExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience using Sage 300 CRE a plusOrganized and detail orientedBENEFITS401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountFlexible spending account/Daycare flexible spending accountPaid time offRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceJob Type: Full-timePay: $5,500.00 – $7,000.00 per monthBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeCOVID-19 considerations:We follow CDC Guidelines.Experience:Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)Cost accounting: 1 year (Required)Public accounting & Private Industry: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
