Job Description : Vaco Boston has partnered with our client to help find a Staff Accountant to join its team. The Staff Accountant is responsible for full cycle accounting and will assist in all aspects of day-to-day accounting.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:· All month-end close responsibilities.· Complete monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.· Produce monthly financial statements.· Prepare monthly tax schedules for state, county and local authorities.· Review accounts payable and general ledger for accuracy.· Prepare and post journal entries.· Assist in the hotel budgeting and forecasting processes.· Complete trend analysis of monthly financial results.· Assist with the internal and external audits as well as perform ad hoc projects as needed.· Flexibility in daily tasks.Requirements:College degree and/or 4+ years of experience in the accounting field.Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.Ability to proactively communicate and work effectively with staff, corporate management, and internal customers.Attention to detail, problem solving and trouble shooting skills are essential.Excellent oral and written communication.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
