Job Description : The Staff Accountant is responsible in supporting the Finance Manager in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting and special projects as needed by Sr. Management. .Task and responsibilities: Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.Prepare journal entries and verify backup to ensure accuracy of all journal entriesPrepare month end bank and accounts reconciliationFile annual Corporate taxes, business licenses and property taxesPrepare backup to ensure accuracy of business licenses, property taxes and sales taxesInteract with Auditors in providing documentation when necessaryComplete assigned duty in a timely and accurate manner.Job Qualifications: Some College preferred or accounting education2-3 years of working experience as Staff AccountantStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong working knowledge with Excel, with use of high level functionsPC knowledge with Word, Excel, Great Plains Software; and Power-point and AdobeIndividual Characteristics: Detail orientedAbility to work under pressureAbility to Multi-taskAbility to work well with othersHighly organized and efficient worker; skilled at multi-tasking.DisclaimersWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Accountants: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
