The Warranty Auditor role is a Corestaff contract position with placement at Porsche Cars North America in Atlanta, GA.About the Client: Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), based in Atlanta, Georgia, is the exclusive importer of Porsche vehicles for the United States.MHP Americas Inc. (A Porsche Company) is seeking for an organized and driven person to join our growing team. In this role, the candidate will assist in the accounting and finance processes (50%) and perform the order management processes (50%). This role will work closely with our Head of Finance and operations personnel. We’re an energetic company and are looking for a passionate individual to join our organization.The candidate will assist in / be responsible for: Day-to-day general ledger accounting, including journal entry preparation and related reporting in the areas of Prepaids, Accruals, Payroll, Benefits, and Intercompany / Related Party processesAccounts payable subsidiary ledger, assist with vendor payment setup, post of invoices, reconcile corporate credit card statement and vendor setupAccounts receivable billing and collectionsFixed asset accounting and reportingBank entries (i.e. transfers, payments, receipts) and bank account reconciliationsAssist in the monthly accounting close procedures including proper period end cut-off and accounting close scheduleMonthly, quarterly and annual closing, consolidation and reporting processes and apply methods to improve efficiencyTransition of order management activities from HQProject and order creation using SAP CRM and SDMonitoring of the timely time recording on the projects as well as all billing relevant informationSupport in the monthly contract or performance-related invoicing of projectsCentral contact point for consulting services within the operational processing of ordersClose cooperation with Finance & Administration GermanyPreparation of special evaluations and reportsParticipation in monthly and year-end closing processPromote the continuous improvement process within the division and participate in internal projects.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (concentration in Accounting) preferred1+ years of accounting experience (General Ledger, AR, AP, Cash Management)Experience working in an international and cross-cultural environmentBig Four accounting experience strongly preferred but not requiredExperience with SAP/R3 (FI) requiredExperience with SAP BW, SAP CRM preferredBasic knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS Accounting and US TaxStrong PC skills with knowledge of ExcelExcellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skillsAbility to multi-taskMust possess a strong work ethic and be deadline-drivenVery good verbal and written communication skillsGerman language skills desirable but not requiredSchedule/Shift: Hybrid/ must be based in Atlanta, GA area.
